Once an announcement is sent to a group, you can see exactly who received it, opened it, or interacted with it using the Announcement Dashboard. To access the dashboard click on the “Sent to X people” in the lower right hand corner of the announcement. This will take you to the Dashboard screen where you will see a graph showing the number of people for each announcement status:

Created - Email was created and is ready to be sent out to the recipient.

Invalid - Recipient had an invalid email address, i.e. the email address was invalid or the email address didn't exist.

Bounced - Email never reached the recipient’s inbox because the mailbox was full, the server was down, or the message was too large for the recipient’s inbox.

Posted - Email has been sent by our servers but has not been accepted by the recipient server yet.

Error - The email address was valid, but there was an error with delivering the email to the recipient’s inbox.

Delivered - The email is in the inbox of the recipient.

Opened - The recipient opened the email announcement.

Clicked - The recipient clicked on a link in the email.

If you click on any of the above statuses, you can filter by the people in that status. Using this tool you can diagnose why certain parents may not be receiving your announcements or confirm that people are receiving and opening your announcements.  In some cases, certain members of your classroom might be skipped, which you can see by clicking Skipped near the top of the page. Users may be skipped if they have a missing email or a duplicate email. If you find that certain users are getting stuck under Bounced or Posted, you can contact us at support@beehively.com and we will assist you in resolving that.
